We’re excited to present the 2026 edition of Best of South Sound, a celebration of the businesses, people, and places that make our region such a vibrant place to live, work, and play. Chosen by the community, this program recognizes the local businesses and organizations that consistently earn the trust and support of South Sound residents.

Each year, The Olympian shines a spotlight on the hometown favorites that help define our communities. From neighborhood restaurants and coffee shops to trusted healthcare providers, retailers, service professionals, and local attractions, Best of South Sound celebrates the businesses and individuals that make everyday life better across the region.

The response this year was nothing short of remarkable. More than 2,000 businesses, organizations, and individuals competed across 215 categories, generating over 438,000 votes, a 32 percent increase year over year. That incredible participation reflects the pride residents have in supporting local businesses
and recognizing those who go above and beyond to serve their communities.

Producing a program of this size takes a dedicated local team, committed businesses, and an engaged community. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who nominated, voted, advertised, and
